There are so many unique places to explore! Very rich marine flora and fauna, rare species, incredible marine life and underwater scenery. Great number of little scattered islands, some of them uninhabited. Home of the komodo lizards, many bird species, beaches just for you and your friends. Underwater, you can find around 390 species of corals, mangrove forests, 70 types of sponges, green turtles and various types of sharks (Grey, black and white tips) and rays (Devil, Eagle, Manta). The water temperature depends on the area of diving, but varies from 22°-29° C.
The Komodo National Park is vast and the list of dive sites is long, here are some of the most beautiful sites we dive:
North and Central Area: Batu Bolong, Karang Makassar (Manta point), Tatawa Besar, Tatawa kecil, Sebayor, Siaba kecil, The Golden passage, The Cauldron, Crystal Rock, Castle Rock, Lighthouse, Mawang etc..
South Area (Padar & Nusa Kode): Three Sisters, Pilarsteen, Secret Garden, Cannibal Rock, Yellow Wall, The Boulder, Banana Rock, Torpedo etc ..[/cs_text][x_custom_headline level=”h2″ looks_like=”h3″ accent=”false”]Itinerary[/x_custom_headline][cs_text]Upon arrival in Labuan Bajo, you will be pick up by our team to join the boat. Day 1
Labuan Bajo – Sebayor
In the morning, our guide picks up at the Labuan Bajo airport or at your hotel. After a short drive, we get at the harbor.
Welcome aboard the Duyung!
A welcome drink is offered to you during a short briefing on the safety and life on board. Then we anchor towards the island of “Sebayor” about 2h30 of navigation.
Bathing and relaxing followed by a beautiful and short hike on “Goat Island” are on the program for this first day for the non divers.
2 dives are planned in Sebayur kecil and Sebayur bessar for our diving passengers.
We’ll enjoy a nice appetizer during sunset before an amazing dinner to end this beautiful day.[/x_slide][x_slide]
Day 2
Crystal Bay – Gili Lawa Darat
Awakening in an idyllic surroundings followed by a healthy breakfast, we enjoy the magic of Komodo park and this feeling to the world end’s,
before heading to North of the Park!
About 2 hours later we arrive at “Crystal Bay”, with its turquoise waters and its white sand beach, it also houses a beautiful coral reef, swimming and snorkeling at will!
As for the divers, we will dive probably the most incredible dives sites of this part of the Islands, Crystal and Caste Rock.
In the middle of the afternoon we will head towards the island of “Gili Lawa Darat” where we will anchor for the night.
Last dive or snorkeling session in the “Path” or the “Cauldron”.
A superb hike awaits for you at sunset with a breathtaking view on the park panorama.[/x_slide][x_slide]
Day 3
Mantas rays – Padar Island
In the morning after an hour of sailing, we go swimming or diving with the majestic Mantas rays of “Karang Makassar”, where they come to feed and get rid of their parasites by thousands of tropical fish.
During the lunch, we will enjoy the falling tide to reach the 3rd island of the park by its size, “Pulau Padar”. (about 3 hours of navigation)
Its carved relief and its high summits, its vast beaches and wild bays, give us the sensation of arriving on an Pirates’ island!
Snorkeling or diving in the 3 Sisters or caves spots.
Very nice hike in perspective with panoramic view on Komodo and Rinca.[/x_slide][x_slide]
Day 4
Komodo Dragons – Kampung Rinca – Kalong
Depending on the tides, we will decide the time of departure towards Rinca and we will head north to join the bay of “Loh Buaya” where our local guide awaits for us to meet the infamous Komodo Dragons which can measure up to 3.50 meters!
It is pretty common during this ballad to cross hinds, pigs, monkeys and wild buffalo.
If the weather allows, we will visit the traditional village of Rinca where the “Bajo” people, an ancient Sea Gypsies population, now sedentary, live in their colored houses that are built on stilts and exclusively from the products of the sea.
Divers will be delighted by beautiful dives along the coast of Rinca such as Wainilu and Bonsai.
Return to the boat for an incredible show at sunset when thousands of bats are flying away, we don’t tell you more…[/x_slide][x_slide]
Day 5
Pulau Kelor and return to Labuan Bajo
In the morning, we’re heaing North-East towards a charming islet bordered by a beautiful white sandy beach: Pulau Kelor, where we will make a last stop for swimming and relaxation.
Return to Labuan Bajo (1h to 1h30 sailing). Time for you to say goodbye to the crew and join your guide, hotel or airport to continue your adventure!
