The Lambo will bring you to an epic crossing! We are sailing from Gilis Islands, passing by North of Lombok and along the Sumbawa coast to reach the Komodo national park, land of the world’s biggest lizards. In Moyo island, you will enjoy diving on sublime slopes and walls. If you choose to dive only two times this day, you will have the option of swimming and jumping in the fresh and clear water of the Moyo’s waterfall.
Around the Sangeang volcano, you will be amazed by the aquatic phenomenon of bubbles created by the volcanic activity. A rich marine life of invertebrates and colorful soft coral in the black sandy bottom that makes those sites particularly atypical. In the deserted island of Banta, we take you exploring its healthy reef to hopefully meet the magical manta ray.
You will be then ready to enjoy the powerful currents of the Komodo national park, which flows dolphins, sharks, manta or eagle rays, pelagics and schools of fish… Five full days to enjoy this worldclass diving area. Not forgetting the surface interval activities whose few hikes and the encounter with the huge komodo dragons, masters of this savannah’s territory.

The minimum level of certification is OWD + Adventure Deep Dive or AOW. Possibility to do the Adventure Deep Dive certification on board (40EUR to pay on board), or in any dive centers on land.

Day 0
Departure from Gilis Lombok
Meeting at 4pm on Gili Air, Trawangan or Teluknare (Lombok) to join the boat. Welcome drink, boat briefing including safety rules on board and introduction of the crew members.
We’re leaving the anchorage at sunset for an overnight sailing to Sumbawa.

Day 1
Nord West Sumbawa
Dive 1: Moyo’s Wall, this check dive still remains a good one. Submerged reef hiding a beautiful 50 meters deep wall, where blue fins trevallies, surgeonfish, fusiliers, black snappers and puffer fish are congregating. A nice little coral garden allow us to finish with a peaceful safety stop at 5 meters.
Dive 2: Hidden frog, a nice slope with boomies and white sandy bottom for an easy dive.
A little walk across the village of Labuan Haji will lead us to the little Moyo’s waterfall. Back on the boat, we have another night of navigation to the Sangeang volcano.

Day 2
North East Sumbawa
Dive 1: Bubble reef (Sangeang), nice dive with rocks, black coral, black sandy bottom and gas bubble.
Breakfast during the navigation to Banta island.
Dive 2: High voltage, on the way to Komodo, our last stop is the inhabited dry rocky Banta. The High Voltage wall illustrates the expectations we can have for the rest of the trip. Healthy coral, big fish and current dives…
Dive 3: Tanjung Rasa (Banta Island).
Anchorage in Banta Island for the night.

Day 3
North Komodo
Dive 1: Tanjung Batumonco, North West Komodo. This site is still quite unknown and offers a fantastic drift dive! Bumpheads parrot fish, red snapper, oriental sweetlips, napoleons or shark gather here.
Dive 2: Crystal Rock, one of the highlight spot. A main rock and a pinnacle. Same marine life than Castle rock, possible pygmy seahorses.
Dive 3: Golden passage, drift into the channel between Komodo and Gili Lawa Darat Island with sharks, rays, giant trevallies, barracudas, etc.
Sunset trekking to see a great panorama on top of Gili Lawa Darat.

Day 4
North Komodo
Dive 1: Castle rock, a seamount in the North East part of Gili Lawa Darat. Another famous site of the Komodo national Park, Crystal rock is close from Castle rock. Visible from the surface, its reef owns the same fauna than Castle rock with a more interesting topography.
Dive 2: The Cauldron a.k.a Shotgun, one of the highlights spot, channel.
Lunch & Sailing to the Center of Komodo Park.
Dive 3: Tatawa Besar, drift with nice coral. Let’s get surprised by the whale shark and Manta Rays.
Anchorage in Siaba Kecil

Day 5
Central Komodo
Dive 1: Siaba Kecil, drift dive.
Dive 2: Tatawa Kecil, coral, fish, swimthrough and big bouldersat covered of coral.
Sailing to Padar island
Dive 3: 3 Sisters, three underwater rocks with summits between 12 and 25 meters. When the conditions are good we can go deeper around 30 meters and meet the “little brother”. Underwater photographers and macro lovers will particularly enjoy the great variety of nudibranchs, shrimps and crabs.
We moor in the South of the island. An option for the brave: a little trekking to the panoramic view point to enjoy the landscapes of the park!

Day 6
Komodo and Rinca
Dive 1: Batu Bolong, one of the highlight of the Komodo National Park. Small rock in the middle of the channel, pinnacles, big fish, macro.
Dive 2: Karang Makassar a.k.a Manta Point, drifting with the Alfredi’s mantas resident.
Dive 3: Wainilu (night dive), famous sandy dive for macro and critters lovers: ghost pipefish, frogfish, blue ring octopus, razorfish, all kind of shrimps, zebra crabs.

Day 7
Rinca
Dive 1: Pengah Kecil, small rock with pinnacles, wall and amazing coral and topography.
Rock sitting in the Center East of the park, he has a really good topography. Black and red snappers, giant trevallies, batfishes, emperor and turtles…
Dive 2: Bonsai, tiny rock in the North West of Rinca, its name came from the single small tree sitting on its top. Overhangs, swimthrough, cavities, mini canyon are composing its topography. An anthias and damsel cloud occupy the show at the safety stop.
Trekking in Loh Buaya (Rinca) to see the Komodo dragons.
End of the afternoon, back in Labuan Bajo, dinner on land.
Last night on board.
