The morning will be dedicated to the visit of Wera, a carpenters’ village where boats are still built in the traditional way. We will then sail to Banta and spend the rest of the day enjoying this magnificent island characteristic of the Komodo archipelago with its arid hills falling on idyllic beaches. If we are lucky, we will see manta rays while snorkeling in our little bay. The day will end with a stunning sunset on the beach facing the active Sangean Api volcano!

In the afternoon, we will visit the small fishing village of Seraya Besar and discover a community of Bajo (called gypsies of the seas) living above the water.

Day 8

RINCA & PADAR

Early morning, we will arrive to Loh Buaya Bay on Rinca Island where a local ranger will take us on a hike of approximately 1 hour to go meet the famous & fascinating “Komodo dragons”! During this walk, we might also come across wild deer and buffaloes living in the area.

Back on board, we will set sail to Padar, the third-biggest island of the Park which looks like a “Pirate’s Island” with its atypical vertical landscapes. We will go snorkeling in its pristine waters and, if the currents allow it, we will moor in a large bay and disembark to reach one of the most beautiful pink sand beaches of the archipelago.

Day 9

PADAR – KOMODO – PANTAI MERAH

We will start the day admiring the sunrise at Padar viewpoint (we disembark in the bay and walk approximately 30 minutes to a belvedere offering a beautiful view over the various bays of the island). We will then head toward Komodo Island, stopping for a snorkeling session in a secret bay along the way. In the afternoon we will reach Pantai Merah: another very beautiful pink sand beach which offers exceptional snorkeling! Depending on the conditions, the sunset will be enjoyed from a small vantage point or from the boat.

Day 10

Day 11 & 12

GILI LAWAH & LABUAN BAJO

After this amazing underwater excursion, we will explore Gili Lawah and enjoy an enchanting sunset from the top of one of its hills.

On the last morning, we will disembark at Labuan Bajo and organize your transfer to the airport or to your hotel.
